Clinical Standards / Ethics
The Right Corecare quality requirements for counsellors represents the benchmark standard in the EAP Industry.
As an organisational member of BACP, we are bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and are subject to the Professional Conduct Procedures therein. In addition, we recognise that Psychologists and Psychotherapists have their own Codes of Ethics. We expect, and insist, that Counsellors working with us will at all times work within the most careful ethical standards.
The minimum requirements for Right Corecare counsellors are:

- At least 5 years' counselling experience in an appropriate environment.
- Under regular professional supervision
- Governance by a recognised code of practice either British Psychological Society or BACP
- Access to private consulting rooms which meet specified standards
- Professionally indemnified to a minimum value of £1 million
